Today there was the chance to observe a total lunar eclipse here at Lake Constance! Under a clear sky and at about 28°C after 10 o’clock in the evening the blood moon was perfectly visible. Right below the moon planet Mars was shining brightly. A lot of people were interested in seeing this phenomenon.
I recorded 2 pictures – one with the Fujifilm X-T1 and one with a Canon PowerShot SX710 HS. The zoom of this camera is extraordinary! With a small tripod and an exposure time of just 1 second I was able to get this result. Find the results of this evening below.
While I was on a short walk through Los Llanos I had the chance to record this time-lapse. There is a nice spot close to the hospital from where one has a great view over the city. The frames were recorded with a Fujifilm X-T1 camera. Darktable was used to develop the raw frames and blender was used for video stabilization.
On a hike to Pico Bejenado (1854m) on La Palma I captured this time-lapse. The clouds moved quite fast and in addition the optical zoom was used. For this reason the movement appears that fast. The frames were recorded with a Fujifilm X-T1 camera. The raw frames were developed using darktable and the video was stabilized using blender.
On a hike from Pico de La Nieve to Rifugio Pico de La Cruz this time-lapse of rolling clouds was created. The blender tool was used for image stabilization. The images have been recorded with a Fujifilm X-T1 camera and were developed with darktable.
